Four Piece Antique STIEFF Sterling Silver ROSE TEA SET Hand Chased with Rose Tray
This is a gorgeous ornate, hand chased, Sterling silver, Four piece Tea Set . Repousse "Stieff Rose" pattern by The Steiff Company and is #28 1/2.
The set includes a Tea Pot, Creamer, Covered Sugar and Oval Tray.
•Tea pot has a hinged lid and is 9 3/4 in. tall, from top of finial to base, 8 1/2 in. across from handle to spout. Marked "C" Stieff Sterling, Hand Chased, 28 1/2. Date letter "C" dates this to 1938.
•The Creamer is 4 5/8 in. tall and 4 5/8 in. across, from handle to spout. Marked "D" Stieff Sterling, Hand Chased, 28 1/2. Date letter "D" dates this to 1939. Interior is Tarnished. No dings.
•Covered sugar bowl is 5 3/4 in. tall including the lid and about 6 1/2 in. across, handle to handle. Marked "D" Stieff Sterling, Hand Chased, 28 1/2. Date letter "D" dates this to 1939. Interior is not tarnished on the inside. No Dings
•Oval Rose Tray is Marked Stieff Sterling, 229, 14 IN, the bottoms and top center areas of the tray show scratches.
Tea Set will be shipped and insured via Fedex and insured for the purchase amount.
Please keep in mind that this is a Used Set and has its normal signs of wear.
This is what gives it its character and confirms its age.
